The Selection Process for Bea Millan
From 50 initial candidates, the top 30 advanced to the final round. The selection combined fan votes and a selection committee. Among the early standouts, Manila earned a spot through the swimsuit round via voting.
The selection committee chose Cebu Province, Pampanga, Taguig, La Union, Laguna, Tarlac, Cebu City, Baguio City, Iloilo City, and Tacloban City. Semifinals wildcards included Iligan City, Cotabato Province, Luisiana, Laguna, Samar Island, and Santo Tomas, La Union.
All top 30 delegates walked in white bikinis with vintage-inspired capes for the swimsuit round, drawing loud cheers from fans.
The Top 15 and Evening Gown Showdown
The pageant organizers then announced the top 15 delegates. The selected candidates included representatives from Muntinlupa, Sultan Kudarat, Baguio City, Tacloban City, La Union, Quezon Province, Taguig, Camiguin, Tarlac, Manila, Iloilo City, and Cebu Province. Additionally, the final three spots went to Cebu City, Pampanga, and Negros Occidental.
Next, the delegates competed in the evening gown competition. La Union’s Bea Windorski immediately drew the loudest cheers from the crowd. She wore a stunning gold-beaded dress with a dramatic slit that accentuated her every move. Similarly, Baguio’s Roxie Baeyen stunned the audience in a pink and black sleeveless gown that highlighted her elegance. Finally, Taguig’s Bella Ysmael mesmerized the crowd in a swan-like gold and white gown.
The Top 7 and the Q&A Round
After announcing the top seven delegates, the pageant moved straight into the Q&A round. The finalists included representatives from Sultan Kudarat, La Union, Cebu City, Tarlac, Taguig, Cebu Province, and Pampanga.
The organizers then asked all seven delegates the same question: “Many Filipinos are feeling frustrated with the country. For you, why is it still worth it to represent the Philippines on the global stage?”
Windorski’s answer immediately stood out. “The Philippines has captured my heart my entire life,” she explained. “I grew up in a predominantly non-diverse part of the United States, where my peers identified me as a Filipina first and foremost. I often had to point out the Philippines on a map for them. Nevertheless, I always felt a deep sense of belonging and hope.”
Furthermore, she continued, “I chose to pack my entire life into Balikbayan boxes because I truly believe in the limitless potential of the Filipino people. Therefore, we must create local opportunities here so that people won’t have to go abroad and endure separation from their families.”

From the Top 7, Bea Millan-Windorski was announced as Miss Universe Philippines 2026. She aims to claim the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown in Puerto Rico this November.
